Bug Description:

After a short while every settlement I build suffers a loss of stability and disappears for no apparent reason.

Welcome to the Forum. Check your settings sounds like decay rates are wrong you can check decay with repair hammer :hammer: you can also adjust stability to increase the span of your building with out the need of support :wink: @slandau1972

Thanks. But would that make the whole settlement disappear? Even where items are at ground level?
Am I missing something really simple?

Have you tried placing a foundation and checking stability on it with the repair hammer? You should have 160 some hours. If it is much less sounds like a setting
Stability and decay affect foundations. Foundations should have 100 percent stability @slandau1972
