Haven’t tried the release version yet; but there was more than 2 maps in the beta that you unlocked after (I think) scoring good enough.

Yes, there are more maps. You have to score at least 2 stars to unlock.
(And the feedback would ofc be that it might be good to show, at least the next, unlockable locations on the map but greyed out with information about what you need to do to open them to avoid confusion)
