The stamina cost of heavy attacks on a club is 100-64, this is insane and I have had issues fighting off more than 10 at a time I went back and added a mod to reduce the cost. I recall people saying that it sucks. WELP YES IT DOES! Why in the world does this mod only remove 2-4 stamina per-swing? This is less than 5% if I recall my math from last night correct. Please simply look to balance the heavier weapons stamina cost to SOME DEGREE.
A full combo either light or heavy shouldn’t leave me with no stamina.

They forgot this item existed when they changed stamina. Because their game know how is pretty bad. From their own game…
You aren’t kidding, and that’s far from the only example. Dennis Douthett thought no one needed a precise stack splitting function because he and his cabal of lackeys at Funcom didn’t use it like the rest of us did. There’s even a post about that on this very website.

Not going to disagree, this has been a long running process of forward process while overlooking stuff that will be a chain effect causing issues and bugs, heck I can’t exactly show proof of bugs until I get a better phone on June 10th,
But I am seeing stuff from 4 years ago rear its ugly head again, heck the glitch I found still exists or as a moderator or dev said a while a exploit, doesn’t matter if it still exists, the weather survival mechanic isn’t a issue unless in one or two zones, an it only works in two zones not that its even needed with the gear resistances to the stuff.
Mind if I ask who this Dennis fellow is? I WOULD HOPE not a developer or a form of moderation.
Sadly I don’t even do full combo chains if I don’t I get my stamina back almost instantly rather than the 1-5 second delay had I done the whole process.
I would gladly give my solutions to some things balance wise not ‘code’ wise as I have been here since the invisible menace ah won’t lie a invisible enemy and having to fight more than one was actually fun for me. I got off topic I would give them all my solutions not that all of them would work but I know they wouldn’t be willing to accept them not that I want or need monetary reciprocation.
He was the Lead Designer of Conan Exiles before his promotion. If you’re not interested in his decisions, you’re playing the wrong game.

Because you should be able to fight 10 at a time ?
This is not supposed to be a hack-slack or beat’em up game. You should not be able to fight dozens of enemies and be the “chosen one”.
I actually didn’t know who this was and I don’t believe that this game was in a good place when it was opened to pc, ps, xbox, so I believe that obviously the choices albeit some good most are bad and a promotion for a game in a RIDICULOUSLY horrible state? I wish I could land a cushiony job like that.
No obviously fighting off 10 at a time isn’t suppose to be possible but if I can’t carry a bow with my gear how in the world do I ambush? How do I lure just one or two? I guess I’m supposed to hire friends and force my family to get on to have the thralls I pick level and hand to them to die constantly, I am all for survival but this in no means is a form of survival, the aspect of survival was reduced and pretty much removed in a way, no weather issue, no food and water issues, no difficult terrain. If massive numbers is survival then I guess that constitutes many games survival…

What’s going on with CE right now, the absolute mess it has become, is largely his fault.
Begs the question to why he was promoted. Most likely a layoff would have gone over horribly or promotion to get him out of the picture to fix the game was easier than all the other options, less hassle is always a good thing but sometimes people need to learn how to fail and better themselves he didn’t learn anything from a promotion if anything he will make more stuff worse. Hoping he isn’t on the dune team I may wait for reviews if hes running anything on this dune game.
Just glad the game has become enjoyable to a degree.
Why couldn’t you carry a bow?
Luring a manageable number of NPCs is possible in most locations most of the time. You just need to find the correct angle of approach.

My bad luck pulls more than desired but I found a set of gear that gives me the means of tearing up everything not boss wise, so I am actually using burder with agility and Authority I dropped vitality as it wasn’t required now lol. But pvp will still be a risky thing but I am okay with a challenge.
Gouging is such a wonderful flavor tag lol.
