Steam Overlay not working even when enabled in properties

Is anyone else having trouble with Steam Overlay and Conan Exiles? Even enabled it continues to tell me it’s not enabled and I cannot purchase any Crom coins.

Hey there, I’m not aware of widespread issues with the Steam Overlay. Do you have any mods running for Conan or in general? This topic below, for example, suggests a graphics tweak package like ReShade was interfering with the overlay:

I had several issues with this last night for my kids’ accounts.

Kid 1 had Steam overlay enabled in Steam Settings, but for some reason it was disabled on Conan Exiles. Clicking into the properties fixed it.

Kid 2 had Steam Overlay entirely disabled and no option to enter settings to adjust. I had to turn off family view before we could remedy it.

OMG I am such a noob, there was an outstanding Steam update, updated it and now its working… just ignore me!
