Storm causing lag and disconnects

The storm causes lag for the server. It is extreme when farming storm boss mobs. Huge lag spikes and disconnects. When the storm ends, it clears up and no issues.

This is a very recent issue. Just started last few days. Storm (and farming it) was working well prior.

  1. Build into the storm area
  2. Move several pets/thrall to the storm area, leave them there with “Stop Following” Command
  3. Wait for Storm
  4. When storm starts, the storm bosses spawn
  5. Experience very frequent lag spikes and disconnects
  6. When storm ends, lag ends

Hardware specs and logs would be useful for this.

Have you verified the files?
Did you exclude the client from security software?

I run:
Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
i7-4790
32 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

I don’t think it has anything to do with my system or security. I don’t have any security settings that would correlate to storm timing. This is an issue that has popped up in the last 2 days only. Prior to that, the storm, and farming it, was fine.

The server only has one mod. Pippi. Let me know if anything else is helpful. Thanks.
