Have you seen the Nemedian (People of the Dragon) DLC?
While not much like the Howardian versions, they are very Saxon styled.
Unfortunately, the heavy armour in that set has issues.
The mail part is absurdly shiny, like aluminum, and cannot be dyed. The shirt under it is avocado green, which is truly bizarre.
But the light and medium sets are excellent. Other than being allergic to closed toe footwear. But that’s what Vanir boots are for.
Depending upon how far you go to medieval, the Poitain sets may be up your alley (in the riders of Hyboria DLC)
The “Age of War” was heavily focused on Nordheimers vs Stygians, so the armours mostly followed that pattern.
Age of Sorcery was extremely focused on Acheron clothing, it got just a touch samey there, we can only have so many slight variants on the same set of glyph covered bathrobes before it gets just a bit silly.
But they did have the Gurthyanks (or whatever they are called) a wholeclothe group that occupy roughly the same space and role as the Hyperboreans.
Do you have any images of historical (or artistic interpretations) armour that you are desiring in particular?
While the main slate tends to follow the theme of the “Age” and may have a spare set randomly added, it’s always good to have images for inspiration. With some work this one is certain the local scholars can figure out which Howardian culture any given bit of historical gear could relate to.
Personally this one would like to see more armours like the 1982 movie had.
