Oh I have all dlcs and nemedian/arena mix is my way to go when building my base
I agree that nemedian is anglo-saxon-ish, maybe even a little germanic (or maybe those are the same) - and they are nicely done: combination of leather and scales/mail.
Poitans are very well designed, but for me they are a little too futuristic/contemporary/advanced (can’t find right word to describe it) - full plate on the one hand (same for legion and godbreaker), while darfari and other primitive ones on the other. Ghurnakis vandal set is ok, but it is also a little too primitive with those tusks and stuff. I used to mix it with zamorian thief and assasins set to get wasteland raider look

I will search for some ideas and post it here - for now all I could say is I will be interested in combinations of fur, brass and leather - something like pictish/scottish ones - more of a makeshift armors, very close to vanir shaman/chieftain sets (my favourites in game), but with less “forest/tribal” look. Nemedian watchtower archer armor was very nice - with dragon on the back and loosely hanging fringes.
