How do I submit a “Ticket” ?
Or is it just a Bug report?
All of my dozen Level 20 greater pets were killed at my base while I was offline last night (1/7/2024) by Stygian Soldiers I/II/II. I did not have any treasure or treasure coffers or that treasure thrall guy.

What does the in game log say about your pets dying?
Were they behind a wall or out in the open?
My pets were gathered fairly close together. The log lists each pet as simply being killed by a specific individual NPC, such as “Growly killed by Stygian Soldier I”. Growly was a Level 20 Greater Sabertooth Tiger and while not following me has 37 Strength and something like 6000 health.
A friend on my server suggested that maybe someone deliberately forced a purge on nearby unclaimed land next to my base to kill my pets. I do not know if that is possible. Is it?
They were out in the open, in front of my vault which is up against a sheer towering rock wall face.
It is a PVE server
What is strange is that my Level 20 big cats should have slaughtered the Purge fairly easily and fairly quickly. They were the ultimate “murder kitty” collection.
Unless tower archers took most of their health before the foot soldiers dealt the finishing blows. But then again there shouldn’t have been any foot soldiers left alive to do that. Oh well.
Rule number 1: Never ever leave followers outside your base, no matter how tough you think they are, they can die so easily to exploits or random encounters, especially the new purge system if someone set up a temporary purge spot next to your base.
I don’t know why, but many people place their followers outside their base and even further away, some do it to prevent others from building close to them, in my opinion, placing them outside of your base is just asking for others to find ways to kill them, best advice is to keep them inside when not used, it is not like your base structure suddenly will get attacked, so keep them inside and avoid things like what you described

I see, so the Devs basically created yet another way for jerks to grief other players on a PVE server. Thanks for the info, appreciated.
@ZeroChill
The best way to keep the trolls from doing it is to build a coffer at each corner/end of your base. No treasure is needed. The coffer has a pretty big radius and keeps another one from being built nearby.
This was actually something I considered before the update introduced them. I had a troll build an elevator platform on the cliff behind my base, and I wondered if the purge could be triggered in that way. The army will not actually touch your buildings, but any thralls/pets will attract them.
I doubt anyone at Funcom even considered this, but I’ve played with enough jerks to know it would happen.

Ain’t that a fact?
I still cannot understand the mentality of these people and above all the nerve to come here and ask help to destroy others on pve servers. A couple weeks ago a guy made a topic here asking help to destroy others in a pve server because Zendesk didn’t respond to his 15th ticket
.
Omg!!!
@ZeroChill, welcome to the forum m8, i am sorry for your loss. Like all the exiles suggested you, yes it’s pve, but that doesn’t mean that all the players in these servers visit to pve.
Don’t look at the stats of your thralls and pets, they mean nothing in situations like these.
Protect your followers , shelter them.
If you play on PlayStation i’ll be happy to jump in to your server and help you for a week to recover your loss.
Thanks for the sentiments and suggestions; I’ll be able to recover fairly quickly.
The only loss that hits hard is/was Growly. He was my best greater saber with a +597% damage bonus and nearly 11k health while following me around. Wonderful hunting companion and a super boss killer for a bit over 2 years. But time to move along, with new pets to find and level up.

Yeah definitely protect your pets better. Unfortunately it’s too easy to kill them while you’re offline. Regardless if it’s intentional or not.
