Successful Server Transfers Question

Has anyone had a clanmate (not the clan leader) successfully transfer to another server ?

If so, did your clan on the old server lose anything? builds, thralls, etc?

Also, if successful, did the transferring person keep their old clan status?

I have read and reread the server transfer notes and they do not cover any of these questions.

I was SOOO excited to try the server transfer, but it turns out I am not eligible. I play solo but started a clan, which makes me the clan leader. I suspect it follows the same rules as removing someone from the clan. The person that transfers will no longer have access to anything in the clan (buildings, chests, followers) but nothing will be lost to the clan, just lost to that person. But this is all guess work, as I am unable to try it. :sob: :sob:

I didn’t know you could delete the clan like that. I guess it makes sense though, since you can reset a thrall’s name back to default the same way. I may take you up on those server transfer tests. It will have to be next week though 'cause I have an entire weekend marathon planned full of Diablo 2 Resurrected.

As was I. I was hoping that you could transfer to Siptah from CE and back to your old server without losing anything.
This would have made up for the Funcom deception of calling IOS an “expansion” which it is not.
Another fail in my book, and another black eye for the veteran community that has much to lose by using the transfer option.

Agreed. When a game company uses the word ‘expansion,’ it paints a mental image of being able to continue from where you left off, which is still not possible for a lot of us. :sob:
