It’s kinda hard with the goomba stomp in the wild. I stay online for it, but they may be waiting for the offline. Easy target, the usual.
I woke up in a raid. I made minor fixes to my base, as I watched (but didn’t make a video of) them.

Right, however the only real and true defence currently is to literally be online and ready to fight now.
DBD works. What I mean is the kinks of avoiding exploitation of DBD. Like enabling 24/7 raid time to alleviate logging off 30 mins prior to current set raid times.
Different PVP game modes have been suggested ad nauseum here.
Funcom has a vision for PVP, we obviously just don’t know what it is.
I hear you about goomba, I haven’t been properly stomped in quite some time. Always keep an eye on all around you and if you’re in comms, call it out or listen for those who point them out.
I think the goomba stomping has waned a bit. Maybe it is just my experience lately.
Hello again Kikigirl,
Oh I see … that acually sounds very interesting. Maybe I shouldnt get my hopes up yet but I will defenelty keep my fingers crossed.

Here’s the thing. Giving suggestions on here are encouraged.
But never get your hopes up that they will change it. They do read the forums and sometimes if people are loud enough about a particular topic it might change. Whether the complaints/concerns were already in the pipeline is hard to determine - they never say that the reason for changing A to B was because of us asking for it.
In all reality this is just a place to sound board and maybe other players might contribute to the discussion. A meeting of player minds.
Hello again Kikigirl,
That is fair enough. I have many ideas but some of them I suspect must have been up already (like connecting Siptah and Exiled Land … making a transport between them). It might conflict with parts of the story about Exiled Lands … but why not a magical transport somewhere … hmm … maybe I should post that?
Best wishes

I suggest you search the forums. There’s many topics on this specifically and some players have explained why it can’t be done.
100% agree.
I totally agree with you that’s why at the beginning of the sorcellery extension I was very disappointed to see all the nerfed slaves but it seems that funcom is adjusting things a bit, the golems have a lot of hit points and I took pleasure in playing with this chapter 3 again, only problem there would be a bug which makes them attack each other, I hope that they will correct it, it is absolutely necessary that the following ones can be used for something it is for me what makes the charm of the game with also the construction system.
An interesting solution to make human slaves a little more usable in base defense would be to make them immune to bomb damage.
Hello Boneflechers,
Thank you for replying.
I am glad to hear that you agree with me. I also agree that the construction part of the game is a huge part of the fun. And the unguarded-card-house-feeling at the moment doesnt really add to the game in my opinion - doesnt create the feeling that the base is worth putting much time and thought into anymore (the game is more about rebuilding than building now).
I defenetly hope that the Golem bug will be fixed. I was surprised to have my companion attacked by my golem one day - but this I am certain they will fix though.
Kind regards

Hello again Biggcane55,
I fear the main population of Conan PvP concist of these kind of players now. Many of the skilled players I knew have left PvP (probably due to Cheating).
Some have gone to PvE-C though, probably due to it being more action there now than in PvP (atleast in my experience). I do both PvP and PvP-E … but in PvP I rarely see my enemies anymore. If I log in 15 min after raidtime, everything is gone, and usually the enemy is nowhere to be seen.
And even if they attack while I am online they usually attack while I am away, and the present cardhouse-build and ineffective thralls leave me very little time to get back and defend.
Not sure if this is due to the population of players changing, the change of balance or a mix of both. But, never the less, I see very little action in PvP anymore even though my bases get trashed more often than ever. This might of course suit some players, but it is not my vision of the gameplay anyway.
Kind regards
/Narrian
