Funcom nerfed the sword a while ago, as darth said working as intended ---

It doesn’t… but that’s what they did with the AoW update when updating legendary items. ---

But what really makes no sense is letting it work sometimes… I mean, if they think Sword of Crom is OP when used by thralls (I can’t think of any other reason) then why don’t they apply the restriction to every hit? ---

Probably because it’s a massive damage dealer and thralls don’t cause durability damage to weapons. Add the changes to weapon repair (or not in this case) and that’s probably why it was made not useable by thralls. ---

Because it was yesterday when I got it, equipped it to a thrall and it worked perfectly fine, but today it looks like it sometimes works, sometimes not. Please Funcom decide whether thralls can or cannot use Sword of Crom! ---

But it is useable! Just not 100% of the time… As I just said, every single hit made by my thrall yesterday dealt damage ---

If anything isnt working properly about it, its that it does any damage at all. Its basically useless for thralls now. Status affects and stuff come from other components, so that damage may be leaking thru. Could also be your authority letting it do damage if you have it. ---

There are several weapons in the game that are [player-only weapons](https://conanexiles.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Player-only_weapon). Thralls can inflict normal damage with these as long as they can hit an enemy with them in the first five seconds after drawing one. Probably a minor oversight from Funcom on allowing for that. ---

Sword of Crom was changed so it’s no longer useable by thralls. It’s now a player only weapon. ---

The thing is, it was working the day before this post, so when it stopped dealing damage I thought it was glitched… turns out it is, but not because it doesn’t deal any damage, it’s because it does sometimes. ---
