I think it’s a solid contestant for the title at least. I mean, making a sequel to what may be considered the best ever in genre was an enormous risk of failing to meet expectations, but Larian pulled through. It feels like it fits right in with the original Baldur’s Gates and Planescape Torment, even if it does have a taste of being Divinity: Original Sin 3 moved into Forgotten Realms instead of Rivellon.
But since the topic of this thread is thralls and their aesthetics, there is one thing Conan Exiles does better than BG3: there’s a greater variety in thrall appearances, and more clothing options (including dyes and illusions). I wish BG3 had customizeable sock-puppet hirelings (because they don’t have a personality anyway), and more clothing options before the final chapter. I had to murder a quest-relevant character in Chapter 1 to get nice clothes to my main character. (I was going to kill her anyway, the clothes were just a bonus.)
And maybe a boob slider.
