How do I adjust decay timer? I pick up tamed animal from animal pen. Once in players inventory, it has 167h decay. I would like to adjust that to 24h.
Gportal basic settings, I couldn’t find anything.
I don’t know, if its a bug, but I also couldn’t find to set a message before daily restart. Broadcast message option isn’t there…
Is xbox gportal settings different then for pc?
Why does everytime that server restart also decay on buildings reset. The age would also show 0, as if it was again brand new server.
Sounds like 167 is Decay rate for every thing on your server to change that your base would be gone in 24 hours
We have two server’s 1 has been up for years showing days the 2nd started last year showing 0 days not sure if it is something I did not do during setup or not
Notice alot of 0 days server’s in the list. This is on Playstation should be the same on Xbox. @Bambere

Base decay is set on 330h, although that is pointless. After every server restart, decay reset. No base ever decay on my server and I don’t know how to tell who still play and who doesnt.
It seems food spoil time is ok. Just tamed animals that I pick from animal pen has 167h decay in my inventory. How much time do they have on your server?
I wanted to set warning message before server restart, same as on official. I found that you can do that in broadcast message under basic settings.
That option I couldn’t find. Do you have it?

I went to a preservation box on official server ps4 pulled a rhino out of box it was right at 168 hours should be if you tamed a thrall npc they can be placed in a chest indefinitely .Set a limit of how many
Thralls and pets they can have and they will weed them out according. @Bambere apologize spell check is cause more issues than fixing
On official it gives a 10 minute and 5 minute warning. Our server has something similar from Gportal. That message has to be done on gportal site the site has changed since I originally set things up. In game in settings you can put a message in loading screen.
Hope it works out for you. You really should make it where decay is like three weeks and doesn’t reset every day with reset that will get rid of alot of unused
building even 4 weeks witch we have on our Exiles server. Does your server reset every? One reason we went with 4 weeks is we have over road truckers and other folks who are not always home. @Bambere
That has to do something with age of server as well
After server restart age and decay restart as well.
Many private servers in search shows age 0 days.
I have building decay set on two weeks.
As soon as server restart, all the bases start again 2 weeks decay, even if the owner hasnt log in.
I have bases on my server that I can’t tell, if anyone still playing, or they left.
If don’t restart server for few days, it became unplayable.
