First of all I don’t like what is being done with the Bandit leader. But with another Bandit leader thrall or even a Relic Hunter thrall from UC in heavy armor it is VERY easy to go thru all the possible spawn points for the Bandit Leader and not come up with another one to take back to your wheel anytime you went. I understand you are talking about “newbie” players and i’m not sure if you mean players new to the game or of lower levels but getting thralls from Sep isn’t exactly something the game expects you to be able to do at say below level 50 i’d think.

They have to think about things like this overall from all players of all levels perspective and also a PvP AND PvE perspective. Balancing all that is very tricky so I can understand a bit why this is being done. If it dosent work and there are too many complaints about it then it may just as likely be changed back in some way, but be made harder to get a Bandit Leader thrall.

The biggest problem I have with this is that the AI for the Bandit Leader is VERY good in comparison with things like Relic Hunter thralls from UC, and the few fighter type thralls I have had experience with from the volcano. The Bandit Leader is VERY good at using most any weapon, 1 or 2 handed, and easily takes a truncheon and uses it at least as consistently as the current limits of the thrall AI can allow for. By contrast i’ve used 2 Erii The Ravager thralls from the volcano and this guy seems to be a complete idiot using almost any weapon, even a 2h spear that he comes with. And a truncheon? Forget it. I stood near some spiders that I attacked with a shield block up and he continuously had his spear out and pointed at an enemy, but would never actually attack it. I’m honestly considering taking him back to the Volcano and placing him on lava just to watch him die as useless as he seems so far.

So TL;DR like most of my posts. The Bandit Leader changes are ok, but make SURE the Captain comes back in some way in game, not just as a Purge spawn, and PLEASE do some adjustment to the Thrall AI so they don’t act like it’s a sin against god if you give them something other than the weapon they came with.

Not exactly true. If you were in god mode you could go thru the whole thing and simply look for things that don’t work right all the way thru, npc spawning issues, overabundance of attackers at some points, texture glitches, getting stuck in the map anywhere, or falling thru the map or walls somewhere.

There are quite a few things you may be able to do that someone on multiplayer with testlive may not be able to do or get to unless they have set up a good group beforehand.

Weapon balance changes:
– Hitboxes for certain Sword, Hammer and Katana attacks has been increased to make it easier to hit with those attacks.
– In addition, the Stamina use system for the game has been altered. Heavy attacks will now require more stamina than light attacks, except for Daggers (Dagger stamina use has been lowered in general).
– Spears also now do less damage than before.
– Truncheons, Blunted Arrows and Blunted Javelins now also do Stamina damage to players. In addition, the Blunted arrows and Blunted Javelins have had their concussion damage increased.

Ymir recipes have been tuned and should no longer require too many shards.

I am good with all of this.

Although my house looks like a criminal stronghold with all the bandit leaders living. Im a crime syndicate.

That being said. I a confused about this.

Fixed an inconsistency between the Serpent-Man items and feats.

Is there ever going to be a reset timer or a proximity area for world bosses? I’ve had several issues where players would drag world bosses far away from their spawn area to my bases in order to kill my pets and thralls. EX: The Red Dragon was lured all the way to my base from the Unnamed City to kill several pets and thralls. This is an on going issue. If the boss is dragged too far away from the spawn point then it should reset or just respawn back in the designated area. Imagine this happening after PVP hours. They would clear your defenses and attack when PVP starts. This shouldn’t be possible.

Also “cannot use” is not true. You have no competition for meteorites in solo. Just leave the game on for half a day and there should be a handful up there.

Or just type slomo 10 into the admin panel. I don’t typically encourage admin cheats/commands, but its more then fair to compensate being solo in my book.
