Text emotes (/me) turn into global chat messages

If you type an emote (/me) and change zones, the text will change to showing as a global text message instead of the orange text emote.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Type a message starting with “/me”
  2. Change zones (or cause the game to load in any manner)
  3. Check the chat box to see that your text emote is now a standard global message
