Thatâs how I play, but thatâs a role playing choice, of course.
Having thralls be unique would be plausible, but one would have to think of unnamed NPCs like Cimmerian Berserkers, Cannibal Brutes and Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers that are as good as named NPCs.
just rename her, where is the problem?
I dont know if you are aware, but you can delete unwanted Thralls
or even rename them for your roleplaying needs, but they can of course not limit any thrall to one pr world, some thralls everyone wants, i will say tho Dalinsia arent even that good in todayâs standard, hardly anyone use her anymore, so i say go for it and just have one! this is easily solveable by yourself and dosent need to be patched in my opinion.
Same, however Iâve changed the name on a couple of them if my clanmate really wanted to use one too.
Iâm neither for nor against, just pointing out that if this is followed to itâs logical conclusion there would be only one of each named thrall per server.
And we can all imagine how popular that would be ![]()
Maybe you could rename her as you gather moreâŠ
Calinsia Snowhunter
Balinsia Snowhunter
Ealinsia Snowhunter
Falinsia Snowhunter
Galinsia Snowhunter
⊠and so on
I once did something like that with âClaw of Jhebbal Sagâ. Went through âTalonâ, âWingâ âTailâ âBeakâ etc (I donât think Beak ever really forgave me
)
I recall @Coyote0903 would name all of his Dalinsias with different surnames. My favorite was Dalinsia Fishhunter in his fishing shack. ![]()
Mine was âClaw of Jeballsack.â ![]()
if you collect all you can build exodia of jebal sag
Youâre making a joke but this is actually a real thing basically. When they made Isle of Siptah they made like 8 different dalinsia clones (they have the exact same stats) with different names. If you go into single player you can see that theres like 10 different accursed_fighter_4s. The zerker and 8 dalinsia variants.
20 Dalinsias may be stupid, but Iâm sure 20 Aesir Berserker or 20 Children of Jhebbal Sag isnât ![]()
would you rather the others kept their EL purge stats ?
Also kinda insane that ALL NINE purge fighters made it to the Accursed, while only Ulric made it as an Archer (Anja and Faergh were left behind, Llor was turned into an Armorer for some reason)
Back in the day when I ran a lot of surges I had quite a few Arkhu the Mad so began changing the Mad to things like Angry, Insane, Irritated, Disturbed, Perturbed, ECT. Had about 10 of them altogether.
Snowhunter
Frosthunter
Icehunter
Sleethunter
Beerhunter
But Iâm much more likely to collect Lubaâs than Dalisinaâs.

Itâs not ability, itâs choice!
Some people have 100 Lians, or had 100 Teimos. It was choice.
If you donât need a thrall with the same name or face ,set it free !
Apologies, but whenever i see suggestions that will hurt another players joy i stand against. Some people love clones and i have absolutely no problem about it , neither should you. If you donât need any other Dalinsias in your house yet you still get them from a purge , set them free or gift them with 1 gold coin to anyone else who need them.
I personally break bonds at once, no question about it , thralls are decorative anyway and have become tedious followers.
I get where youâre coming from and actually agree with you on that concern.
Named T4s should be unique, one of a kind.
For the same reason I advocate unique, one of a kind legendary weapons.
Relax, fellow barbarians. ![]()
Dharu has a point with the lack of immersiveness of having multiple copies of the same thrall.
Sadly, itâs also not viable to make thralls unique due to multiplayer problems. Even for a single player, it would be difficult to implement or balance. There is, in the end, PvP, the bane to immersion.
But as we can rename thralls, with mods even change their appearance, thereâs a way to marry immersion and the game mechanics. Just donât collect multiple copies or at least rename them (and put a helmet on them or something). And look down on the immersion breaking savages that put 20 Liams in identical rags into their base as if they had put ketchup on their sushi.
