See as an artist I am also a modder where I do a lot of stuff for free. Do you?

You spent weeks grinding I spent weeks making Reshade - understand now?
In a single player game we cannot have trade/gift etc, in mmo you can help others or trade.

I shared my early in-progress version of my Reshade two years ago, on this very forum which you could have downloaded.

Most modders have their mods for free. There are few exeptions like MartyMCFly with his “RTX” Reshade shader, but most of any mod come free. I am myself created some mods for my favorite games, for example texture upscale for Lineage2, and it will always be free, cause i want my beloved game be more beautiful then it is now, and share that with other people. Ill never ask any revard for it, not as “joke” nor any other way.
You just proclaimed yourself selfish, thats all. Just please include in all your posts near your superior screenshots something like that - “ill post it here, look how good game looks with my reshade, but ill dont give it to ya, only for 50$ bucks or 5000 gold or etc have a nice day guys”.

Ok, i am getting notifications every day from this forum, and messages you guys send.
When i enter to read these messages, i expect to read something smart, but i dont.

1 - When Velovar posted his screens, only 1 guy mentioned how Velovar did great job.

2 - Sirekka - Not even like before asking for link, not even 2 freaking letters “GJ”.
Your first post on this “Beauty of age of conan” was:

Who are you to tell someone NOT to post screens here anymore?!

3 - Velovar was joking about pricing his reshade setting for 5k gold, reshade is free, but his settings could and should be premium thats for sure.
He is in game 20/24h every day poking his reshade and make it perfect in every zone. EVERY ZONE.

As Sirekka said, “MOST MODDERS have their mods for free”, i really don’t see Velovar’s words were wrong, plus it was a joke, i can bet.

You see my Reshade does the opposite, game is overexposed and I try to fix it in places that are broken, because not all materials have their specular map set correctly or in some cases it is missing completely.
Most Reshade presets are bad, like most of art is bad, like most streamers have iq of a shoe number.
Basically, right? Basically you cant tell the improvements of my Reshade over the base game, right?People like to act almighty and give their thoughts on topics they know nothing or very little of, while acting like experts.

If someone wanted me to tell them how to build a house I would be more then happy to tell them for free, thus ruining the materials, telling them it only overused concrete anyway. @Velovar There’s so much butt hurt in your response I don’t even know where to begin. But if you want to charge people for your mod and people are actually willing to pay it, then more power to you… What do I care

P.s. The quality on my game is actually pretty good, It doesn’t always come across on my stream but it looks good to me and I’ve got my reshade settings pretty fine-tuned considering I record a lot of footage in this game. I certainly would never consider using all the bloom that you have running. It just looks horrible.

P.p.s. how many viewers do you have bud?

@RipVanWinkle I usually link mods and things of that nature on my discord. Feel free to hop in as all are welcome. I don’t have my reshade settings In an exported format but I’ll look into doing that if it’s something that you’re really interested in.

Hi guys. Your screens are looking good, but all i saw here is different reshades. But what about changing AoCs own rendering? I mean what if you can edit game files that located in AoC\Data\prog (i mean .vsh and .psh files). Did anyone know HLSL programming to do some changes in them? Like adding HBAO+ (game uses only old SSAO) and maybe TXAA (game uses fxaa) and improving draw distance of land shadows?
I think some of this changes possible cause AOC has same engine as TSW, and hbao and txaa presented in tsw.

What do you think?
