The Forgotten Addition

I will keep this thread short and sweet, then leave it open for discussion. As most of us would know, Katanas, Short Swords, Great Axes and Bestial Claws have all been implemented as part of the game for a considerable period of time now. However, we still do not see NPC mobs wield these weapons in PvE content. Personally I feel that this is something of a shame, and the more variety we have in terms of enemy engagement we have, the better.

I am curious to know how the rest of the community feels about this issue. Would you like to see enemy NPC mobs wield Short Swords, Great Axes, Claws and Katanas in addition to the usual ones?

There is at least one npc on Siptah wielding a katana. And, i was rather happy to see it to.

Personally I would like to see dual weilding myself.

Good point. I agree it should be a thing.

That is a good start Chairman. Was he a boss NPC, eg-a 1 skull? Honestly, if the best we can manage is a handful of the total NPC mob population, or some bosses then that is better than nothing at all I feel. Thanks for pointing that out Chairman.

So in that case I would respectfully request that they hard code them in. It is obviously possible based on Cairman’s example provided above.

Thanks for the support and agreement gentlemen, much obliged. At a time when most of us long running players are screaming for more challenge, it makes sense to add in these outstanding weapons and their unique attack styles. Its not the answer to all of our prayers of course, but it will a make us have to pay attention to some different attack styles, and make engagement a tad more unpredictable. As they say, every little bit helps.

Actually, I just realised that the Bestial Claws/Claws of JhebbalSag arent wielded by NPC mobs either! The OP has been updated.
