I can’t get a Tome of Fire and the Druids in J-7 where you attune to nature are not there. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. It shouldn’t be this hard!

Age of Calamitous, I think. One of the Druids near J-6 teaches you Nature attunement for elemental magic.
