As @tobbiusness said it is not an excuse honestly. Why introduce something sooo wrong, so buggy update that no one wanted as I’ve witnessed. Just to trying to fix them in the later chapters? Chapter 2 and 3 will be all fixes and balances? Nope… just new ideas, that are executed very badly, and in the exaxt opposite way as players (not just players, but plain logic itself) would expect.
I firmly believe later chapters will not change anything crucial in the positive way. I had hopes for the game. I HAD.
There should be a whole age of balancing, fixing, because knowing the speed they fix something is a dead sloth compared to bringing already broken things into game. But money talks. They won’t fix any bugs until there is enough people who buys overpriced reskinned sh*t from bazaar.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree, I would love to see siege, traps, and actually jumping/climbing/swimming enemies, but it will never gonna happen.
I like the ‘I am food’ feeling as you said, that’s why I slow XP gains down every time (especially the XP gain from just by f…ing being what the hell?). But after like level 20, or the first couple of legendaries, you are already in the top of the food chain. No environmental hazard at all. No monsunes, landslides, the enemies are as dumb as they are since the very beginning of the game, and now, that their HP is tanked (and their damage output is buffed, but reduced??), the infinite stamina… the game is ridiculous. No survival. No engagements. Just ‘hey peasant buy some overpcired reskin already!!’ It’s not a game anymore, it’s just a tool of a milking factory. A marketplace.
