# The Rocknose Skins Stop Them From Producing In Animal Pen

I raised a gold-veined rocknose. I pulled him from the pen to combine with the Yamatai Fodder to get the sweet DLC skin I bought. I placed it back in the pen and it no longer produces gold.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Raise a Rocknose
2. Put it in your inventory for a moment to apply the skin
3. Place back in animal pen
4. Loss

I can’t find it in the wiki and I am specifically looking for it. I also see other people posting the same resentment in other locations, so I would argue how well known it is.

Irregardless of whether the player base is aware, I find it an absolutely useless feature and posted here hoping it is indeed a bug. There is no way it is readily apparent that would happen.

Pay attention to the “Uses” recipes.

Now the variant you get with fodder…

Notice how there is no crafting recipe under “Uses”. It would be assumed that changing the pet by adding the DLC fodder would change it’s base abilities.
