whether or not an event is currently active is definitely controlled by connection to Funcom Live Services. the components of the Jheb Sag event are still in the AoH version of devkit, so all the underlying stuff is still in the game’s code. most of the sorcery event is not exposed in the devkit, so i know much less about it and how it works, but i am doubtful they would remove it completely. it just makes sense to keep this stuff around in the backend, and just enable it periodically via FLS.
i am fairly certain Jheb Sag and sorcery events will continue to cycle in and out periodically. my guess is that within a few months of AoH launch, we’ll see jheb sag event cycle back in. i imagine it will be longer before we see sorcerer skull exchange come back, but i think it will at some point. they spent time (and therefore money) to set all these event systems up to cycle in and out this way, so i cant imagine why they would stop doing it.
