The system has swallowed my thralls

Yesterday I transferred my character to the Savage Wilds map and continued my game on the Isle of Siptah.

Today I set off with my thralls to explore the area and tackle a few dungeons.

When I entered the last dungeon, only 2 of the 11 thralls came with me. I checked the list of thralls and the system had simply stolen 9 of my followers.

I’m playing the Legacy version of Conan Exiles in single-player mode. Using my administrator rights, I adjusted some settings, setting the number of available thralls to 150. I had 47 followers and now I only have 38. And some of the followers were carrying in-game items that I can no longer get hold of. It’s just so frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced these issues recently?

Could someone from the official team reply to me? That would be very kind.

I lost more thralls again yesterday. Two were lost in combat. But even so, of the original 36 thralls, only 29 remain.

Has there been a change in Conan Exiles regarding the survival time of thralls?

I’ve set the survival time to the maximum. This never happened to me on the Savage Wilds map.

Is it only on the official maps – including Isle of Siptah – that the survival time has been reduced?

Or is this a bug that will be fixed in the next patch?

If you are able to set thrall decay, then you should be able to turn thrall decay off completely -

I don’t know if that will solve your problem, but it’s worth a try.

I play on the main server in single player mode. I never made an own server. So where do I can change these setting?

I play Conan Exiles Legacy via Steam.

If you are on singleplayer, Conan Exiles Legacy, then I cannot show you a screenshot, but the information is the same, it just looks slightly different.

While in your game, hit Escape and go to ‘Settings’

Go to ‘Server’ click on ‘Make Me Admin’ (this will let you change the settings)

Then search for ‘Disable Thrall Decay’ and click that button. It should be right next to |the slider for ‘Thrall Decay Time’, which you said you already set to maximum.

That might not be the solution, because I don’t know why your thralls are disappearing. I don’t know how you have 11 thralls following you - possibly a mod? If so, the problem might be caused by that mod (or other mods you might be running). But you asked about thrall decay, so this is the answer to that.

I’ve had thralls disappear completely for weeks or months then logged in and found my old thralls standing in my base where I’d left them all that time ago. Only ever while running mods, as you are. Not sure which mods might be causing it but highly likely one or two of them is behind this issue.

I am german player. I made some screenshots of my used mods at Conan Exiles Legacy. And I made a screenshot of the admin settings in the devision thralls and hunger (in german language). Perhaps you can tell me which setting have to be right or wrong?

Unfortunately, I don’t speak German, so I cannot be sure about your settings (but it looks like you probably have the right box ticked). Hopefully someone that does speak German can confirm that.

I can see some problems with your modlist (I don’t know if they would affect this, but they certainly seem like problems) -
You have two copies of ‘Level 140 - Unlock Almost Everything’ in the same list - you should only ever be running one copy of the same mod.
You also have ‘Navi’s Extended Levelling Mod’ and ‘Litman Level One Fifty Six’

That means you have four mods all trying to do the same thing (with two of them being copies of the same mod). You should probably choose one of them and remove the other three.

You also have two copies of Pythagoras - ‘Pythagoras Extended Building v2.2.7’ and ‘Pythagoras’ - you should only be running one of these (keep ‘Pythagoras Extended Building v2.2.7’ - that is more recent - and get rid of ‘Pythagoras’ - that is out of date)

Also LBPR should be below Pythagoras in the list - you should probably move it down to almost the bottom of the list.

MultiChar Reloaded specifically says on its page that it needs to be the very bottom mod on the list, so move that down to the bottom and put LBPR just above that.

I don’t know if making these changes will solve the problem, but they should make things more stable.

Thank you very much for your help.

I got the mod list – apart from the non-standard game worlds – from an older friend who has, sadly, since passed away. So I can no longer ask him about my gaming issues. He’d known Conan Exiles since its early days.

I’ve updated some mods myself, as there were outdated ones that no longer work. Litman’s mods in particular are very numerous and are constantly being updated.

I’ve actually noticed that four mods have the same function, and it certainly makes sense to keep just one mod of this type so as not to overload the whole system. In the end, I kept ‘Level 140 – Unlock Almost Everything’ because I’ve unlocked a lot in the knowledge section that I use regularly in the game, and the more knowledge points I have, the more I can unlock, of course.

I’ve followed your advice and removed a few mods. I’ll now see if the game runs more smoothly.
