In all fairness you took 21k at launch and then compared it to the numbers now.

We have a lull in that we haven’t seen a peak in over a year and that we are dipping down into 2019 numbers (and that is probably directly because the AoW wasn’t something very interesting truth be told). Hopefully the next age brings those numbers back up but we are talking about 3-5000 reliable players in 2017 to 16-18000 players in 2023 if you ignore the seasonal bumps of new release (the shiny new toy players that drop the game again after a month or two). That’s about a 4-5X increase in 5 years. Not too shabby and most companies would love a brand that has that growth (and that growth is actually more since 2017 didn’t have console #'s at all and this is just Steam numbers so today’s active players are significantly more).
