Same “place”, three years apart.
Some fond memories and huge changes to the mods and stuff.
The save itself is much older though, because this other SS, my first published in Steam, is in the same save:

Keeping this save is getting harder. This time to fire it up there goes 5 minutes of loading. I had to replace the buildings to refresh the building pieces.
But still cant let go this save. I am “emotionally attached” to it. ![]()
It sure looks like this game as a whole will be forgotten by Funcom. What with a player created character, and some fighters and pets that stood out, or had memorable deaths in the first few Age of War purges, I am looking to keep writing about them even without epic moments, or epic mishaps in Exiled Lands or Siptah as source material.
Honestly, one of the things I like about Funcom is that even if they simply leave the game, it will still be “working”. I have no reason to believe they will do the same thing other publishers do.
And Conan Exiles is not a “server game”. Everything in it points toward a mainly single player game in which multiplayer is an afterthought.
I spend too much time in it, and modding it, because most of what I see points towards this game outliving some presently existing “top GDP” countries.
I used to have that with Warcraft, then I found out when it was abandoned, not only there would not be new things, the things I had in it were changed.
For all that Funcom does with Conan Exiles, the fundamental and original game can still be played if you just ignore what you are not interested in.
