Why do I have to upkeep my thralls armors now? It breaks so damn fast reverse this immediately. I am not gearing them otherwise if they decay set it to the lowest possible or allow repairs not to reduce durability anymore. I SAW THIS thankfully sooner than later would have lost a precious thrall

All I known if this is a bug this is the one I hate the most if it is intended to be a thing. Who the hell hasn’t been fired for this dumb idea.

Thanks and weird, does this happen with crafted and/or full durability legendaries as well?
I bet a bottle of whiskey that this dude gave his used up gear to the thrall and now got sober and is causing drama.

look closely to the durability shown by op on those 2 screens , it suggest that it has gone down ( 84.1 → 76.1 ) while on the thrall.But we don’t know if op has mods ect as it’s not a bug report , so unless @SabunoHakia give more details people should test on their own platform
What kind of game/server are you playing on? PvE, PvP, single player ?
Do acidic weapons damage thrall armor? That’d be my first suspect.

@Noqturn I have no reason to lie. Specifically when this is actually causing me problems I’ll get a video and post it some how from my phone. Okay dude? I didn’t post in bugs because I don’t know for sure if this is intended or not, made the mistake of who to send this to twice…

Put @Kanza1 put gear on your thrall go let it get hit after noting the durability and then let it happen this also happens on a player server as well as official.

Not sure what your reply to me was originally, but the reason I jokingly agreed with them is because I know for a fact there is no code in existence in the game that would cause thralls to take armor durability damage from REGULAR damage.
It simply doesn’t exist, so it’s an absolute impossibility for that to happen regardless of what you do or what kind of server you’re using, short of a third party mod implementing that feature.
(and no, I have not noticed that ever happening on my server either and I’ve played with thralls recently, all of their armor is at max durability the way I gave it to them - thou like I said it would be very weird noticing that when it’s not a thing)
However as @Khaletohep pointed out above, there is another option. If you’re playing on a PvP server, then acidic weapons would affect the equipment of thralls as well if the thrall can be affected by PvP damage at the time. So that would be your only explanation - check the weapons they’re being hit with.

there’s been an update to the game without any patchnotes on the 20th of February , and I remember this has happened in the past as a bug in the testlive version of the game , and didn’t got into live. so there is definitely a precedent to this . Feedback: Thralls & durability

That was just an update to the game launcher, they basically sprinkled some Dune ads in cuz they announced the release date.
It contained absolutely no changes to the game itself and there was no update to the server software either.
alright maybe you are right, but maybe you missed a small variable change or something in the update , I know you mod for the game so I’ll take your word for what it is , but still the code must be somewhere since if you look at the topic I linked above it was an issue confirmed by Funcom
