I’m sure I’m not the only one who has noticed since the followers 2 patch that not only are orders glitchy, but the thralls AI seems semi broken. For one half the time when you need your thralls they’ll just stand there, and not move. A lot of the time they glitch in place, unable to move or follow, and just standing there. And sometimes even when you have a boss directly highlighted not locked on, you click to tell them attack and it’ll say ordered to move.

Yeah I have lost count of how many times I have had to run around my thrall for like 10 min trying to get it do something, while trying to not be hit by the boss I am running from
Yeah. Even my smartest thrall sometimes just freezes on the spot, usually after crossing shallow water (Oasis of Nekhet) or trying to walk up stairs (jungle ruins). Sometimes the thrall is just fine, walks up and down stairs, wades across water, etc. but quite often, she needs to meditate on the meaning of life, stairs, water, universe and everything.

“Is this really what I want to spend doing for the rest of my life?”
“How long is the rest of my life going to be if I keep following this person who seems intent on fighting every dangerous monster we come across?”
“My socks are wet. I hate it when my socks get wet!”
“Man, those stairs are steep. Boss just wants us to kill a couple of apes and loot a treasure chest, then come back down. I’m sure she’ll handle it on her own just fine.”
“I wonder if Mom is worried about me. Maybe I should write her a letter. But what could I tell her?”
“Do I look fat in this armor?”
“My back is itching but I can’t remove this breastplate on my own. and it would be too embarrassing to ask Boss for help. It’s itching so bad I’m going to go crazy!”
