I approach enough for the row on the right to give me chase, but leave the thrall behind (just a little ahead of the pillars). Then I retreat a little so that I don’t accidentally aggro the left row. When I’m going back, I command the thrall to return and we do away with them. Then we go for the second row. They are not hard, so by the time we finish them there’s always one left and the Commander. I sic the thrall to the boss, kill the remaining skelleton and then go for the boss myself. He’s very predictable, so it’s an easy fight. The thrall suffers a little, but nothing serious.
During the purges I assume we will have to deal with much harder enemies.
It’s not killing them that worries me. If we do that methodically, they go down.
The only time I sweated hard was when I had a purge spawning inside a base in a very cramped space, with those lemurian fat fishoid heavy hitters. I wasn’t close to lose the base, but I lost a bench and all dancers. And my EL eldarium stash. That was what pissed me the most.
What worries me is capturing thralls. I love doing that during purges due to their uniqueness. It’s a thrall I can’t get in any other way. So that’s always the goal. Thralls with low hp are a concern, but I wonder how much concussive dmg they can do. I’m also thinking how I’ll build their access point. We can delay them, maybe use some orbs. I confess it excites me facing this new challenge.
We still have thralls with some decent hp pools. They can serve as punch bags, in a kill box, ko box in this case. I have some ideas, @biggcane55 .
