Thrall set to guard in dungeon

Greetings,

I finished the Black Keep for the first time a few days ago. My lvl. 20 Dalinsia as well as my horse got stuck unter water and I got them out by setting them to guard beside the water. Guess what, I forgot to set a new guard in my base afterwards.

Had to relog today (bandages bug) and started improving my base, forgetting to tell Dalinsia as well as the horse to follow. Is the gueard really bringing them back to the Black Keep or are they lost?

Welcome to the Forum. Silly question but have you checked out the followers list to see where they are .Are they actually in the dungeon?

Some times they are slowww I guess due to travel distance I have froze and logged back in and they have not moved .Good luck.

Click the follow thrall option and look at your map to see their progress. Sometimes completely logging out then in gets them back real fast.

The thralls will always return to the last place that they were placed on guard until they are placed on guard at a different location. Try doing as sestus2009 mentioned. To do this highlight the AWOL thrall in your followers list then press the button to track the thrall. Now you should be able to see its exact location on your map.

I wasn’t aware I can follow my thralls on the map, only knew the follower list.

Putting a thrall to guard within a dungeon doesn’t seem to count, so my thrall and horse showed up in my base again after a long while, their last guard position before the dungeon.

Suprised you could put them on guard in a dungeon that might be a glitch.

You can also rescue your thrall. However they will lose everything they are wearing snd lose there weapons. I have done this but it was not done lightly. My thralls were in a dangerous place. Good luck to you.

Side note, if it’s the bandages/potion bug I’m thinking of try mounting and unmounting your horse. Usually fixes it.
