Thrall training

Just a request: Can we get some way to train thralls passively? Maybe using training dummys or something atleast like to level 10, coming back I’d like to try the newer purges, but I’m definetly not looking forward to leveling each thrall all the way individually.

Edit: could be a good way to add some livelyness to the game, seeing thralls train on them, could need repaired after so long, and maybe have task masters assignable to increase leveling speed

Ypu dont need to. Replace any berserker thay diea woth another one

And while not purging take a follower or two to your adventures they level pretty fast to level 10

Thats the problem the game rn works at 9999x speed vs competent thralls, as a vet and with everything else in the works, I dont want to spend weeks just training thralls with nothing else to do, im not trying to complain hut as a 1 man arny rn, the last thing I want to do is train many thralls especially since getting back on all mine seem to have rolled bad

I hope never!

Use warparty to train two thralls at once.

Yes please!

I believe that the reason we see so many taskmasters coming out from purges lately is an Easter egg of what’s following.

Sooner or later we’ll get this option mate, it’s coming.

would be great, tranining on dummies, and maybe agaitns eache other or agiant the master itself. Imagine, instead of relaing only on food to focus in one attribute, may training with other thrall focused on this given attribute would help to raise it. But this system would not replace adventuring with the thralls, it could be sllower than normal levelling. Particulary i get a little bored doing session of massacre on apeman’s or wating for golens in purges. May the purge mob should give more xp to thralls.

No.

They already removed the survival aspect of the game, they already overload us with end game loot for little effort, if you just want everything given to you, play single player in admin mode.

That’s kinda half of my point, they hand everything to you now which I dont like. Then the one feature that gets bottlenecks for time is thrall training, I dont understand why people would be against it. Especially because when that’s all you have left to do its pretty boring. I literally got back on and have epic gear by 30, 30-40 got done just by making t3 mats for base, the one part that always took longer than it was worth was training thralls manually

So you acknowledge that the game has been made too easy and everything is just handed to us, and your solution to that is to want to remove the one thing you feel we still need to work for? At that point, why not just play an idle game instead? The solution is to get them to fix the too easy loot and too quick levelling, bring back actual survival elements and things that need to be worked for. Not remove the last elements of effort the game requires. At that point a playthough of the game becomes 10-20 hours and then you’re done, might as well go do something else.

I’m against it because I like a game where I have to do something rather than be given admin mode.

Until Enhanced came along, I spent several years just doing week long playthroughs and starting over because the game had lost any challenge. My first time playing Conan, it tooks weeks to get to level 60. You learned the game because you had to learn how things worked.

Now, with the pay-to-win aspect of the Bazaar, I don’t bother to learn most skills and with the overwhelming end game loot drops, I haven’t made perfected paddings, alchemical base, or explosive powder in years. By the time I hit level 30, I am in end game armor and weapons, which means the next 30 levels are an afterthought.

Hell, I’ve even run Kleal’s at level 25, on Official Public servers, in regular armor, because I can get end game thralls at low levels since they give me iron truncheons for free. I don’t want an easier game.

Leveling thralls is grinding, it has nothing hard to do, it’s just time consuming. Asking for an option to do something less grinding that doesn’t mean easier necessary.

Yes we need the game to be harder again in general and actual crafters we gain to be useful again.

But it does mean that there is even less to do. It may be grinding, but at least it is doing something (and therefore feels like progress of a sort). Remove that as well and there really is almost nothing left of the game.

We’re all at least agreed that we want the game to be harder in general (and therefore more rewarding to do things). That doesn’t mean the difficulty level has to go up - it also still has tobe accessible to newer players, just not having everything done for free.

Never said anything about removing this option mate, never ever  . All i asked is more creative ways to do it also, alternatives.

Pve must be more harsh in general. Wild animals must get a buff and recipes of each region must mean something more than decorations. Although i do enjoy the fact that i know the plurality of spawns on the map, i would like more patroling enemies with non specific spawn points. But that’s another conversation.

In general i expect for taskmasters to be something useful, without necessarily game breaking and my gold to give me what it should, convenience  .

The prospective of Al Merayah return which will allow you again with higher Risk now to get your hands in good amounts of coins, but you wouldn’t be able to raid it again until they got their revenge, which is nothing else than the old purge system…

So many prospectives…

I will speak no more, i don’t want to interfere in their plants, but i still wait for an avatar appear in purge, lol .

I always like systems that give you something, but at a cost.
So, how about any thralls that are passively trained are removed from the “down but not out” system.

I run my own server, can level 10 thralls at a time if I want (or used to, not sure if that mod has an Enhanced version or not), but I still like to have different options of doing things in game, so some sort of passive training would be nice. Would give me another area to build up for my base.

For the problem of bad stats on leveled thralls, you can have them drink a Rebirth potion to get something new, though it’s random, but you can have them keep drinking till you get stats you like.

Skeletons in the unnamed city gave pretty good exp for faster leveling, (though been a few since I’ve been there). Also the down but not out system is helpful too (takes 3 strikes for them to fully die), if problems with disconnect or traveling to corpse retrieve.

Ypu are doing nothing if pasdive training .. sound like something lazy people.likes

At most, I would tolerate Thralls ‘on guard duty’ getting 10% of the ‘as follower’ XP.

Note: I didn’t pay much attention, but while leveling it looked like my follower would get the same amount of XP as I’d get. So if I we both were getting that 2900 XP, I think an ‘on guard duty’ Thrall getting only 290 XP for a kill would be fairly balanced. …they might gain a level after a week of patrolling.

Yeah, that would be great. Or even just a simpler version - if there are normally 6 spawn points in a particular area, instead have 12 (or 18, whatever), but have each of them have a 50% chance of spawning an enemy - that way there’d motly be the same number of enemies, but it wouldn’t be so easy to know exactly where they will be each time. But yeah, that’s enough ‘off-topic’ from me too. (But we can dream  )

Thank you, this is exactly what I was getting at. Its an annoying time sink, its not exactly challenging but it forces you to take away time better spent else where to power level them all
