Thralls and pets aggroing when player takes fall or environmental damage

Thralls and pets aggro when player takes fall or environmental damage. They will cluster on doorways and hallways, making player movement difficult or impossible until they reset back to their guard positions, which sometimes takes several minutes.


Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Fall and take damage
  2. Take extreme heat, cold, frostbite or heatstroke damage
  3. Thralls and pets all over base attempt to merge on your position
  4. Character gets buried under giant rhinos and thralls

It happens taking sandstorm damage, too. Basically any damage at all they rush to you to try to err… protect you I guess? From the floor. Or wind. Or heat.

Player damage has always seemed to be the trigger for pets/thralls to come to your aid in a fight for awhile now too.

If all that’s the case, the devs might have to consider differentiating “environmental” damage from “in a fight” damage when it comes to pets/thralls diving in.

Pet start aggro if player take any kind of damage (including fall). It sholud be only if player get damage AND aggroed. By the way, pet should aggro when player attack and once get hit by any distance. Archer player can hit and kill pet at high distance without getting aggroed.
