Console player here, not sure if this has been covered.
The changes to the NPCs and AI that makes them more difficult and interesting to fight, are these changes (mainly concerning HP) retroactive with all the Thralls that you broke (not placed yet) and using as guards (placed in the world. Or will you have obsolete Thralls?
They will work with all Thralls
Yep, I had collected a bunch of people from Sepermeru mainly as decoration, came back from a weekend trip and found out that they had all been upgraded into murder machines.
Cool, I collect most Thralls for guarding from Set City, so that will be nice…
