It does look like they still follow you (on the map atleast).

Hmm. If they’re still following you, then they’re probably not falling through the map (unless that’s changed - it used to kill them eventually). Sounds a lot like the reported bug where thralls can get dbno’d in a dungeon and wind up invisible.

Ah, just checked the 1.3.0 patch notes and in addition to the one I was thiniking of, there’s another ‘Known Issue’ that seems to apply:

- Thralls that have been downed and revived disappear after zoning out of a dungeon.
- Followers abruptly disappear on teleport or dungeon entrance/exit.

Probably that covers your situation? Hopefully should mean they’re already working on it if it’s a ‘known issue’ from the last update.

This has been happening to me non-stop since about 3 updates ago.

So far, I can often fix it by going into the followers tab of the menu, and right clicking on the following thrall that is stuck somewhere… and selecting “stats.”

That pulls the thrall and teleports them to your location about 95% of the time.

That also emphasizes just how simple it would be for them to FIX THIS PROBLEM… but they don’t address it. Instead, they just break it worse after every update… and it doesn’t matter if you just have one thrall with you or are running war party.

The thrall AI is basically making the game unplayable at this point. Non-stop problems.

I also view STATS to get them to appear. You are right, occasionally that does not work. I think it is when they have been revived that it doesn’t. In that case, sometimes they appear with a falling animation for a few seconds. If I’m quick, I can hold E on them and put them guarding which then sets them back to normal. This is very bizarre and should be fixed.

Yeah, this, and about a dozen other massive bugs which make the game basically unplayable.

Hmm, how do you quote when replying?

Anyway, I wouldn’t call this game unplayable. Really annoying at times, yes. I don’t play vanilla though. That I think is unplayable, especially if you don’t have access to being admin.

To quote when replying - highlight a section of text by holding left mouse-button and dragging until the desired section is highlighted. When you release the left button, a small menu will appear above the highlighted text with four options - ‘Quote’, ‘Copy Quote’, ‘share on X’, and ‘email’.

That has to be the most bizarre way to quote a message when replying I’ve ever seen, but thanks. Now that I know it, I like it.
