Bug Description:

So many things just disappear.

Bug Reproduction:

Playing the game

Bugs constantly throughout game play. Many were weird, but not game-breaking - NPCs/thralls T-posing, stacking on top of each other, getting stuck on environments, corpse rag-dolling, etc.

What’s motivating me to uninstall are the bugs that wipe out effort in the game. I’ve had geared/leveled thralls just disappear from my base, knocked out named thralls disappear into the ground, deaths upon login. But the worst had to be the end of The Dredge.

I was really enjoying the dungeon (except for the part where the audio cut out completely at the beginning), got to the end, beat the final boss, then while I was harvesting the corpse and getting ready to loot the chests, the acid pool refilled and my character died.

Given the amount of bugs this six year old game regularly demonstrates, I’m guessing that wasn’t an intended feature. Regardless, when I ran back to retrieve my gear, the corpse in the acid pool had none to retrieve. All of my character’s loot and gear gone (including a legendary claw weapon that I found earlier today that made combat very enjoyable), my bearer thrall was also in the acid bath, unable to be recalled. Tried to get my gear and thrall about six more times, thinking maybe I missed something as my naked character was swimming in acid to get my stuff. Then I gave up. On the game as a whole. And Dune Awakening.

Bought the game for $3.99 during the Steam spring sale. Thinking it would be a good way to get oriented with the systems that would influence Dune Awakening, which I was pretty excited to play. I think I paid too much for Conan Exiles; in price and definitely in time invested. I have about sixty hours played and reached level 40. The game has a ton of potential to be really enjoyable, but that enjoyment is routinely crushed by one bug after another.

Time to uninstall - the bugs are way too frequent and detrimental to the game. And I can’t see how Dune Awakening is going to be any better.

Find something besides a public server, they are the worst.
I refer to them as public toilets for good reason.

That would be the still very borked “living village” system which. You can set up your base to keep thrall vanishment to a minimum, but…

Legacy bug. The thrall is still sort of there, if you careful scan the ground where the vanished you can fine their prompt. But sense there is an easy work around…

Just run out of render range and back so the game has to drop them back in.

My question continues to be why does this only effect humans.

New bug. Not sure why they call it the beta client when this build still isn’t on it, so non one knew about this bug; funcom says they get tested. But the Dreggs has been bugged in other ways since it’s rework 3 years ago{?}

Those chests didn’t used to be there, I don’t think they have reset the acid timer for the pool to account for that.

Don’t. Ya the game has issues, funcom is a verb. “They really funcomed that”. But this game plays like no other, I’ve played a bunch and always end up back here for good reason.

You thought wrong :zipper_mouth_face:
Nerds love Dune:Awakening.

I got the game on it’s first sale after it dropped; pretty sure it was when they did the first big hot fix. I quit playing at 2.2 or .3 because the game was stagnating and played BRs for a couple years. Came back for 3.0.

I’ve also level capped a couple dozen times, was starting a fresh character for this, err, update.

I have all the DLCs, and the battle passes. I’ve spent right close to my $100 game limit; reasons. I have gotten more then my moneys worth, but the aggravation level is, well, level.

Your loss and I know I go on about funcom and the sad shape Conan is in, but for many of us here, Conan is the game we hate to love.

But at 40th level why haven’t you gotten the sorcery body retrieval spell?

As a newer player they may not have known about that. Or, like me, they may have no desire to play a sorceror and should never be forced into doing so by the game’s failings.
