so you have thralls for all stations thralls to train thralls and thralls to break thralls. why not have a thrall t1 thru t4 to train ur pets. to help grow them faster and a better chance for greater pets.

Geez, with animal pens as cheap as they are, and babies so plentiful, people already spam pets too much as is. The only way I’d support thralls speeding up the raising of pets is if the current rate of maturation was first made much slower.
IMO, it would be better if thralls merely increased your chance of getting a greater pet, or increased their rate of production while left in the pen (i.e. faster gold production from rocknoses).
I totally agree to that. I’m very unlucky to get a greater pet while I use the best possible shadespice food. In the WikiCE it’s 30% chance but I’m closer to 5%, whatever the species of the pet.
funny enough, I read on one of the wiki pages going over how easy it’d be to farm Goldstone from Goldvein Rocknose just sitting in an animal pen. it also touched on the fact that using shadespiced food if you’re already bulk grabbing animals doesn’t seem to help much. I haven’t done much of my own research into it, but I seem to get a good few Greaters just from the 20-25% chance. I mean, they don’t show much of a difference between using the two, but having to run in and get shadespice i guess isn’t profitable.
It’s apparently “The economics of Rocknose” So, it may be different for other pets, but according to this they barely got any more Goldveins when using Shadespiced.

Or just to level them up from the level zero they at. Five of the same animal in pen I’m getting 2 greaters more often then not so three pens side by side 4 to 6 every shot I’m using shadespiced whatever the animal eats as well. the regular pets I stick in a chest to decay.
