Thralls: Why are so many "Archers" better at melee?

Yes, that’s a much bigger problem (and I’ve already pointed it out several times)
plus, there are four separate issues (bugs?)

  1. NPC archers have a much higher accuracy percentage

  2. Someone on the FC watched too much Star Wars, and “higher ground” really does mean the end—specifically, the archer who’s higher up usually hits their target, while the other one shoots at the ground beneath their feet

  3. NPC archers have more efficient AI for switching weapons; if a thrall following me decides to shoot a bow, he simply doesn’t care that an opponent is right next to him and keeps trying to shoot over and over—until he accidentally succeeds or dies

  4. There’s a legacy bug with weapon swapping; (at least since the spring of 2021, when I started playing) after a few swaps, one weapon gets visually stuck, leading to comical situations where for example it looks like the archer is trying to fire a sword.

I can confirm everything I’ve written here and it’s easy to reproduce. I’ll leave it up to you two to decide whether these are bugs—and if they’re not on your list, feel free to add them.
