Just enjoy the game again from scratch. What fun is it just sitting on a bunch of stuff with nothing to really do? I think the most fun this game has is starting over and grinding/optimizing that grind. Plus 90% of the buildings people lost were nonsense anyway. [Pretend there is a downvote button like Reddit and click it]

i have pieces in my place that r gifts from players i played with. some of them sustained since official release.
these r the main reasons i upkeep my base in my main server.
for you its pixels , but for me these r precious.
if i want a fresh start i just jump in a new server and start over.

How about not telling people how to play? If people are upset that the stuff they have been spending hundreds of hours to find and farm for has disappeared overnight without warning, they are entitled to feel that way. Especially if people are in clans and have had a lot of shared work and resources wiped out. Telling everyone “shut up and start over lol” isn’t good advice, it’s just trolling
Someone can give a person a SUGGESTION to view a situation from a different perspective without it being a case of TELLING THEM HOW TO PLAY. What you are suggesting is a false dichotomy, a case of A). People have the right to complain OR B). People are attempting to FORCE them to play a different way. You never bothered to stop and consider C). suggesting to consider that while the situation suck, there really isn’t anything you can do so why not look at it from a different point of view and attempt to have some fun again?
Is that really so hard to grasp?
No I am not suggesting that A, B or C are better than any other. I truly do not care. I am simply pointing out that not everything is A or B.

I never used the word “force”, that was all you so nice strawman. I said “How about not telling other people how to play” and I stand by that, don’t tell me how to enjoy the game and I won’t presume to tell you what to do either. The fact that OP can’t literally force me to do what he says does not change my argument.

Presumptuous on your part of what someone has or hasn’t considered. Maybe they have considered it and decided not to just accept it. Not everyone shares your definition of fun.

Your condescension aside, is it really hard to grasp why people would be upset that everything they may have worked on for months to achieve in the game, by themselves or with friends, has vanished overnight? People have a right to be upset and they have a right to post to the forums about it. If you don’t want to read about it, don’t click on those topics. No one is “forcing” you to.
Well, considering that I said, and I quote:

I think many of them have the historical relics that can’t be obtained (easily) today like Old Purge thralls, Vathis, Relic Hunter Captain, Arena Champion, and the two Broodwarden bosses, and etc.
yeah, also some of us were maintaining stuff we built with friends who have died. It doesn’t really matter the reason, ■■■■■■■told us not to worry and promised all people’s stuff and characters would migrate over in the new servers, they broke that promise and screwed a lot of people over. That’s unacceptable. Not to mention some people lost paid content somehow as well.
I’ve been playing since the game came out. I’ve jumped between servers, lost everything more times than I can count, and it never really hit me that hard. The stuff you collect in a game doesn’t carry much weight on its own. What actually matters are the moments you go through, the people you meet, and the memories you build along the way.
For me, that’s always been the point. The journey is what makes it worth it. When it starts becoming more about holding onto pixels than enjoying the experience itself, that’s when something feels off.
how about khitan throwing axe and javelin?
so my teammate got onto the server, our pixels are fine, it’s some of our characters that are missing.
also those pre-nerf voidforge weapons that still had the +20 damage bonus
