Here are the steps we took since I first started playing 5 years ago on the PS4. These were arrived at through the group of players we had at our core.

I had a PS4 slim. The memory and processing were not as good as a pro, so I bought a pro. I switched out the hard drive and activated Boost Mode.

Added an external hard drive as well, and moved Conan to that drive. No issues after.

Several patches and upgrades had me not seeing bosses in dungeons, spawning pools, and vaults. Deactivated Boost made. It was better, in that I could see them fine on my own, but in a group they disappeared. One of the guys suggested moving the game back to the internal hard drive. I did, and the problems went away.

Got the PS5. Some still had PS4s. They all played on perfomance mode, no grass or details. I was having rendering issues in all modes of play (official, single).

I did get myself a 4 Tb storage plug in, because the PS5 standard isn’t up to my standards.

Changed my DNS settings at the suggestion of our IT guy here at work. He said Sony’s DNS is not very good. Used the Google settings, and gameplay is improved dramatically. Except for the up to but not quite 5 second delay on some doors when I first load in, and the disconnect that everyone seems to be experiencing in battle that was specifically mentioned in the latest patch note as being fixed so I just can’t call that a concern anymore until I get disconnected after the patch is released even though they have stated it was fixed and will never happen again until a later patch when some guy says, “Why is this written like this?”, and changes the code, thus annoying an entire group of people who want to go to his house and throw various food items at him for a time. (Breathes in deeply).
