I Suggest, FUNCOM HOST of a Tournament of Suggestion!
Inwhich the winner of the tournament gets to decide if the new system is good or bad.
It is very clear, those that are bad, dont understand why something is good.
So lets put it to the test.
If you can fight in this meta, then therefore you should be able to stand. Bad meta or good meta, IF YOU are a good player, it wouldnt matter if it is a good or bad update. Everyone is limited by the effects of the update, so you should still be better than they.
Personally im tired of garbage players saying they know what is best in the update(s).
Keep in mind, i didnt say Winner changes the update, i just said they get to have the final say if this is or isnt good. and all of you get to shut up about it afterwards.

Suggested rules
Crafted Combat raid gear. (enough points to get you to 40/10/40/0/20/20/0) which is common standard PvP set up, easy to reach, and fairly balanced.
3 Pure Aloe Potions. (3 is a fair amount to correct mistakes without drawing out fights of running around for 15min.)
15 Set feast. (15 is a fair amount, to correctly manage your stamina usage. while also giving you Sated. As well as giving those that want 50vit to have a burst if they so choose, at the loss of other stats.)
(i would suggest not to use poisons on weapons, as they can be abused/scripted. If poison is acceptable.)
5 antidotes. (this will give a player enough potions to purge and still take damage from poison.
1 bandage. (Bleed is not much of a factor, but if they wish to purge the bleed after wards it is a useful item.)
Star Metal weapons, should be the aim for damage and pen, as they are all craftable of every kind weapon.
7x7 arena is a fairly good size, it allows most runners to feel free, and close enough to keep fights short (within 1min fight.)
Center hub(server) should be used, so that ping is below 100 for each player. having at least 100 or lower will give correct connections to strikes. If EU needs a different tournament so be it.
best of 3. (this allows players to gauge each other enough to understand and make correct counter plays.)
You told everyone to “fite me 1v1”, so you claim yourself as a pro fighter.
BUT keep in mind most of the players don’t give a single F about fighting tournaments, heck… most of the players don’t even use the forums or plays PvP. They just run around, kill stuff, gather stuff and build stuff for their pleasure after a long day. They don’t care about who is the pro, what is the meta and so on. This is based on myself, but I guess I’m not the only one.
The idea of organizing tournaments (not just fights, but other activities such as horse races, etc.) is a good idea, but giving the right to say the final words over thousands of (silent) people is far from fair.
I do understand your point but keep on mind that they need all the opinions , even the ones without basis , it is a gaming company trying to satisfy the costumers the best they can . If someone is out of topic and just try to salt wounds , believe me they know what to do with him , her whatever . All we have to do is say our opinion about the game and our wishes for it , the rest is for them to choose how we will play their game .
Now , about the skill tournament , i find it a really tempting idea . It would be nice advertising idea for some persons to saw to a great audience their PvP or pve skills . The game is difficult and able to put you on hold for a really long time , so some people who tried this game and didn’t made it can easily go and give it a bad review . So if these players or new gamers who don’t know what Conan is , whatch a video with skilled players playing it maybe it would trigger their interest to try it . For example what Fortnite would be if there wasn’t ninja or Ali a etc … So yes tournaments can lead only to more buyers for the game , there for a great part of your suggestion hides something very tempting I believe
If you want to speak your opinion that fine, but that isnt the point. Statistics, evidence, and facts, are more important when it comes to people that come here to whine, and it is taken as doctrine.
Adding a voice that has that evidence, is clearly needed in this world of “opinionated doctors”.
