I really like this idea; in my opinion, it would be a natural evolution for the game. My suggestion would be:
- An arena structure where the thrall trains with a sword against dummies.
- An archery structure where the thrall shoots arrows at a target (Battle Pass).
- A mixed structure of sword and bow where the player can choose the training animation (Bazaar).
- A structure for artists, featuring dance animations (Bazaar).
Note: All structures have the same functionality and increase the level of any thrall at the same rate, whether they are warriors, archers, or artists.
- The structure requires a specific thrall that can only be found in Purges, like the barmaid.
- Specific armor (cosmetic) for the thrall training warriors (Battle Pass).
- Exclusive animations for warriors during training (Bazaar).
- Thralls’ levels can only go up to level 15. After that, only experience in a real battlefield can take them to level 20.
- The structure may require some consumable or fuel (food would be the most obvious, but it could be oil to maintain weapons, for example).
- The time for a thrall to go from level 0 to 15 should be quite long, at least 72 hours.
Alternative: The arena could require 2 thralls to train against each other, leveling up 2 thralls simultaneously.
Alternative 2: One of the thralls from the previous alternative stays in the arena as a slave, essentially serving as a “Punching Bag” for the thrall that is training. It’s a bit wicked alternative, but nothing compared to the other forms of torture in the game.
