Tried to login to the server I was moved to, 1819, only to be met with a demand for the password, which, of course I have no way of knowing.
I knew Funcom would find a way to screw this up.
There is a simple plausible explanation - this is most likely a temporary measure put in place to allow Funcom admins to access the server while making sure the update has properly taken effect and the database has transferred correctly. Once the update goes live tomorrow, then they will presumably remove the password requirement. They stated clearly that servers would be taken down on the 4th and the update would go live on the 5th. It is still the 4th.
Ah, still groggy from an all-nighter trying to preserve what I could.
Took me about a week, and a late night last night. But I finally got it done. Roughly 40 Elephants. Pack of Bearers.
I am putting my faith in Funcom. Praying.
