Trouble With Followers Solution?

I’m often finding an issue where I try to interact with a book/object … and I miss it entirely and end up commanding my follower to crowd up on me … Which they do so well that I can’t interact with anything and if I’m in just the right place- I can’t even move nor direct them to get away from me.

I would think to suggest a Hold E and select “back off” to make followers disperse from the player to the devs. I am curious what solutions everyone does for this? I’m talking worst case scenario where you’re in a dungeon and can’t just place then away from you/climb up the wall/Admin teleport.

I have E for interact, and use T to command followers with Hold-T to bring up the menu.

Oh and I have my mount follow 5 meters further than my combat followers. So if they’re at 5 (like my bearers, then my mount is 10). Keeps them all from being cluttered.

I think another solution could be to just momenterarly let them unfollow

My strategy is tho if there is a book or anything you can learn from there will be a little notification saying press square (in my case on ps4) to interact and then most likely u are very close to something u can interact with
