I tried to change the appearance of Redeemed Legion armor to the Pictish Warchief armor but it keeps saying the source recipe is unknown. Technically I guess I don’t know the recipe but the armorer does. The Redeemed armor is modded in the screenshot but when I first tried it was not but with the same result.
yes, these are the restrictions that currently exist. the player must know the recipe. thus, all thrall bonus recipes and legendaries are excluded from this feature.
that this is an unfortunate restriction has already reached funcom several times. especially legendaries have lost even more value with 3.0 (if that was still possible at all) and excluding them from this feature also takes away their style factor, which is often the only “value” a legendary has.
