I just spent a lot of time doing hit and runs on a t4 thrall that could easily kick my butt in a straight up fight. Went through 2 clubs before I got her knocked out and then the moment I knock her out she falls through the ground and is gone. Seriously Funcom you’ve got to get your stuff together. I cant tell you how many times my brother, a friend, etc had quite this game because the bugs and glitches steal the fun out of it. Theres too many glitchy deaths, too much lost time in the form of bugs or bugs taking away resources that took time. It’s got to stop guys and gals. You’ve got to get this game fixed. It’s a 10th of the size of most mmos and they dont have a fraction of the problems. NO knee jerk responder you are wrong, I’ve played dozens of mmos and none of them were this plagued with bugs and glitches. Yes knee jerk responder, I do like the game and I do want to enjoy playing it more but the lack of technical competence in this game too often over shadows the other positive aspects of the game. No point in owning a Porsche that cant idle. It’s just too darn much. Too many obvious and glaring bugs that remain after lunch. I’m on xbox one and I still have to log I to single player first to ensure I dont get kicked in the first few seconds of logging into a server. It’s too much already.
I feel your pain. I fell in love with the game in early access on PC, then the huge update two weeks before official release utterly screwed up the game’s performance for me. It hasn’t been right since and here we are more than a year post official release.
At this point, all I can say is don’t hold your breath waiting for fixes. I just check in to the forums from time to time to see if anything has been fixed. One of two things will end that…Funcom fixes CE or two games I’m waiting for to be released come out. After that, if CE hasn’t been taken care of, I doubt I’ll be back at all and I’ll wipe it off my SSD. I’m not waiting forever and have been more than patient enough.
It had happened a lot to me, and I usually just run away until I feel some new items load on map, then go back and thrall will be at top of floor.
I’ve read some log out/log back in to get thralls back to the surface too.
It’s some rendering issue.

There is a connected problem with dead bodies falling through the ground since the anniversary patch. It is already confirmed and promised to be adressed with the next hotfix. I am pretty sure this issue with the thralls has the same reason and will be adressed with that fix.
