Unable to Build on Private Server

I have recently set up a private online server between me and a few friends, and while testing out settings to get everything set up, I discovered that I am unable to build. I have tested this several times with the foundation, and have altered settings to change the problem, and every time I press R1 the item places, but nothing is there, and the item is no longer in my wheel or inventory. To see if it was a graphic issue, I tried placing a wall where I placed the foundation, but it acts as if there is no foundation. I was attempting this in the mouth of the Fiend cave (still outside under the overhang in front of the pile of rocks that mark the entrance border.) I am not sure on how to reproduce the issue, and has me concerned since when I play offline or in co-op everything works just find. My server hose is GPortal, character name is Short Gari, and the server is Darkest Dungeon.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Craft Sandstone foundation
  2. Move to mouth of Fiend cave, and select the foundation from wheel.
  3. Allign foundation with ground and between character and the pile of rocks that marks cave mouth border.
  4. Press R1. Item should dissipear.

Which server settings did you alter when setting up the server?
Just in case, could you try to disable building decay and see if this stops happening?
