Unable to find my server + disconnected after direct connect

I am unable to find my server on the server page. I direct connect to my server and after 2 - 5 minutes I am disconnected from server. I have tried to repair my server on the gportal site. I have tried a different mod order, and have even tried removing all mods. No matter what I do from any suggestions, my server does not show on the server list and direct connecting always disconnects me in the 2 - 5 minutes. I have another player that plays on my server that has the same exact issue. I am able to play on a few different servers that have mods and I do not get disconnected from them.

Have you tried re-installing the mods on both your client and the server? Do you have the tick in the in-game server list to include servers with mods?

It has been reported that the Favourite option’s in the to-be-fixed. I also found some intermittent issues direct connecting to private server, but if I waited for the servers to start listing and typed in the name of the server I had no issues. Perhaps there’s stuff happening server-wise in the background that jumping in too fast is messing with? No idea myself. Good luck.

I have removed the mads entirely and still have the same issue. And yes I always have the include servers with mods checked.

I type in the name of my server and let it refresh at least once prior to direct connecting.

Are you not able to see it at all or not able to see in history/favourites? Do you and the server run the same game version (have you run the steam updates on the server)? What client do you use to connect: Live or TestLive?

Removing the mods may not be as simple as it sounds. Certain mods leave traces and may even corrupt the database when removed.

Have you checked the server logs for any clues?

I see nothing in the history or favorites menus. Do they work for you ?

I have my server set to auto update and auto restart. I use live. I am not very computer literate so I don’t think the logs would help me lol. Am I going to have to wipe the server ?

No, they don’t. It is a known issue and history/favourites don’t work for any of us.

okay I thought you were suggesting I get in that way :\ … I can’t find my server even if I type in the full name and refresh multiple times. I can only direct connect to it.

How are you hosting it? Are you and the server in the same network?

It is through GPortal.

I have had the server list issue solved (I think) though GPortal, they moved my server to a new IP… The stability of the server seemed good but I had no mods added. I am going to add mods with suggestions from my other thread.

do you have a chara on your server already?
if so…on the server list is at the right an area where it says Level.
Click on it.
the list will sort all servers you joined and still have charas on, at the top of the whole Server List!

further… please check in your serversetting.ini if you have MaxAllwedPing=0 . if the value is higher than 0 , please set it down, restart the server. maybe it helps.
