Unable to place fences on roofs

After upgrading to t3 and placing reinforced black ice fences I found that on 1 side of my base I was able to place the fence, but on the other I was not. Both sides are identical.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

1. Build a house with using corner roofs
2. Try to place fence around outside of rooftop

I did however find a work around which required me to destroy the corner roof and place the fence and rebuild the corner roof… I shouldn’t have to do that.

Placement is acting strange since the hack/exploit fix patch, i agree.

The staircorners not placing correctly is one aspect of it, but there are several problems after this patch.
Didn’t experiment this fence/roof problem, but i saw many different version of items not beeing placable at this or that location without real reason.
Realy hope this will be reworked, because this “fix” is just frustrating for those loving to build lot in this game.

I have a similar issue where black ice fences can only be placed on one of the inverted roofs, but not the the other, getting an error message saying the fence needs to snap to existing building piece.

Suggestion: Recipe for diagonal fences?
