So i googled about this, and saw a thread from 2018, and this is still happening. I want to say i play on offical server and i am also new to this even tho i bought the game on pre-release.
I already lost two thralls, (and a boss/NPC corps) that disappeared on me.
When it happen again on my thrall for the third time, I destoryed the foundations where i left him to see if a sank thorugh but he was not to be found. So i tried restarting the game and the thrall reapeared.
With Boss/Npc it helps sometimes to leave the rendering distance and come back. maybe ill try restarting the game if it happens again with a boss so i can get my loot.
Thats my two cent on the matter.
