Given the latest announcement about Unreal 5…I personally play PvP, and my opinion probably represents a small percentage of players, probably i m a dreamer,but a fresh start is a fresh start… what would it be like to reset all the servers, a fresh start for everyone, a new start, and why not, maybe cross-platform between Xbox and PlayStation… wow, waiting to see how it goes on PC, good luck everyone.

They’ve taken game updates away from us, may us well wipe the servers too and be thorough. The server message could say “LOL, suck is console players. Thanks for the money you spent in the bazaar so we could improve the PC experience”.
I’m so effing angry at Funcom right now. And you know the kicker? We should have seen this coming. How many years has Dennis dangled the “PS5 enhanced version is still being considered” BS. I need to go outside and touch grass or something. This big announcement and the console players get a footnote.

Yeah man, they really don’t care about console players. The proof is that, like you said, we still don’t even have an improved version for the PS5. And it’s always the same excuses. On PC, they already have mods that often do things infinitely better and more interesting than the game company itself.
For us, what’s left is players abusing glitches in PvP and PvE. No consequences, the entire map cluttered with random builds, lag, and crashes. It’s sad to know that this kind of decision is going to kill the game on consoles, which are already struggling.
They pushed out a massive update that, in practice, added nothing. It’s disappointing to see such a great game heading in this direction. We all knew older-generation consoles would struggle to run this update, but the PS5 and Series X would handle it just fine!
It really feels like console players got screwed over. And then they come with this “improvements” excuse — something they’ve been promising for a long time and never actually deliver.
Yeah, I just watched a youtuber (Hollow) do a 40 minute hype video, showing a bunch of the footage and interviews going round. I’m seriously considering pre-ordering (and I swore I’d never do that again). It really looks like Ubisoft may actually have managed not to sh*t the bed on this one. One of my all time favourite games, and it looks like the re-release may actually be really good.
