This is awesome news.
And hate to be that guy, but nothing has been said about the hundreds (dare I say thousands) of missing thralls. And what is going to be done about that. Or is everyone SOL

There is nothing but saying sorry that they can do about those thralls though. To much time has passed to do something. Rolling back would be the only possibility but other players have invested a lot of time meanwhile and they would not be happy if that all gets wiped either.

Hopefully you won’t break other stuff while fixing some things.

What’s up with the wonky timers? I lost two transport stations today to decay and had to rebuild them, despite having reset all my stations 2 days ago. I managed to save a base that had run down to 35 hours after that 2-day ago reset.

And what happened with the Fists of the Drowned? They’ve disappeared and can’t be remade.

Can we get the Journey Step added that explains to all new players how the “living settlement” system works. It needs to be explained to new players.

Unlock it to all current players, so that we can learn ourselves.

New Players need to be taught how to navigate the new living settlement. Many new players will be turned off if they start losing thralls early in a play through. Especially the rare ones.

Also, how about x4 Harvest Rate Event to say Sorry??

Instead of a 4X resource bonus, how about decrease the rarity of T4 Thralls and their spawn timers, give all of the players an opportunity to repopulate their living settlements

Yeah i dont need stone and iron - i need thralls.
Also, not sure if i am just unlucky but others on my server agree - the spawnrate for T4 in generall seems to be lower since the update dropped, probably because we have the bar and the cages now.

What i also would love to see: Fixes for the journeys: “Thrall Taker” and “Masterchef”.
Not to mention the delving bench.

I don´t even get my hopes up for fixing the broken inventory…

Agreed. Been thralling for days and not finding named either! Seems like the spawn rate was actually decreased!? We need to replenish lost thralls, specific ones, not the lousy fighter III’s we get from once a day spawn cages :face_vomiting: I am so frustrated.

Since this is a known issues thread, and I haven’t seen this mentioned much, I’d like to also report the following journeys which are currently broken:

  • Thrall taker: the step “Assign a crafting thrall to a station” cannot be completed.
  • Master chef: the step “Assign a Cook to the Improved Stove” cannot be completed.
  • High priest: the step “Assign a High Priest to the Altar” cannot be completed.

I presume these are related to the living settlements system, and how thralls are now no longer “itemized” when assigning them to a station. Choosing the “move to/guard” option for these thralls and then placing them at the station is not registering for these journey steps, nor does clicking on the thrall’s name in the benches’ crafting screen.

Still no fix for the black corsair faction on Siptah being unable to be knocked out? Considering they easily seem to be the biggest faction on this map and that thralls are central to both the game and the new Age, it seems like a joke that this bug affecting core functionality and enjoyment of DLC I paid for is ignored outright.

How about the items you deleted from the entire game, like my drowned vault set? Guess those might not be fixed anytime soon, either. Or maybe a broken faction and deleting items from the game aren’t considered “major items” to list.

Nevermind the people on official Exiled Lands servers who lost those items permanently, to say nothing of all the thralls also lost forever! Not even giving lip service to people’s losses you inflicted with this buggy update, or any compensation like increased T4 spawn rates?

I am sorry, but I am not impressed with this “quick update” and while I am thankful those issues will be fixed, the lack of acknowledgement of all the other serious issues along with all the thralls people have lost comes across as total disregard for your players. Many people have quit this game because of this update and will no longer be interested in Dune, either, given how players of Conan Exiles are treated and there being no reason to expect differently. Please do better.

Rather see an instructional video linked on the login screen.

Would rather see the chances to get T4 thralls bumped up for a bit.

Tried many times and many ways - no success, even placing different t4 thralls (different specialties), so I will be able to select which one I want to use, thus “placing” a thrall in a way, didn’t work.

Did you place them on the bench?

Yeah - placed one, then put him aside (still standing around) and placed next one in the bench. Switching between specialties is available, but it’s not enough to trigger “place a thrall in bench”. As someone said earlier - since thralls are no longer objects and benches lost their thrall slots, it is impossible for the game to recognize placing a crafter.

That bug was reported fairly early in the beta, welcome to funcom.

Oh I know it all, learned it hard way with previous big patches - nemedian foundations, crom coins deficit and so on. Was lurking here in hope of finding workaround for that journey step, since I had to create new character - my main is waiting for Funcom to determine why all my thralls (combat included) are gone with the exception of one dancer and one rat. Don’t want to interfere with anything, so I “can’t” play on that server. Not that I’m counting on FC to find out what happened, but still…

can we please have the disable thrall use option added to doors/gates?
